....is Ionian blue. It's the brightest of bright blues. The water colour at Kathisma Beach is unbelievable. Curiously though, as sparkling as it is there is no visibility - put your mask underwater and it's dense blue, that's all. You cannot see anything else except blue. It's like swimming in cyan.
Today we hired a bike (is that what it's called?) and toured aound the length and breadth of the island, stopping for a few hours at Kathisma beach. I have never swum in water this colour.
